VOGUE RUSSIA TELLS ABOUT THEIR NEW MODELING SENSATION IN 2004:

Polina is only seventeen and already a model with experience and reputation. Miu Miu made her their face for the campaign in past season and Hugo Boss the present. Polina starred in the January cover of Russian Vogue and appeared three times in British Vogue, twice in V magazine and eight times - in Numéro.

It's been an outstanding beginning of the career, and not what Polina once thought about her model-future.

She was sure that she would not become taller than one meter sixty four. And her face, she considered it like rabbit's. It turned out that all this was in vain. "It all began, when I went to the Slava Zaitsev model-show with my friend - says the stunning beauty with the "rabbit's face" - they there convinced me to make a couple of photographs, which I did. It all led to this, and it's something I could've never visualized.

First serious photo-shoot was arranged by the Russian Vogue, and this is our small pride. Polina then worked with the American celebrity photographer Max Vadukul. It took place in a museum and during the shoot, the strict ladies of the museum made Polina wear protective slippers.

Her biggest beauty secret: "I use each free minute for sleep. Once I fell asleep in a Haute Couture show backstage, just before the show was about to begin." When not working, Polina never wears make up, and she is surprised how willingly the photographers want to take her pictures without any make up.
